Late birthday present for my bestie Brendan. The weird perspective nearly killed me and I scrapped and redid sections repeatedly, and I'm still not thrilled with it...but it is in the area of what I had in mind.(tumblr:[link] )

Lovely painty style and the perspective looks great I think! I'd just say that the forearms and lower legs need a little bit of an anatomy check.

No, it's a good thing...I'll often do these things where I'll fight and battle with some parts of the drawing and then I'll get to like, toes or whatever, and I'm all, 'ehh, f**k it. No one will notice.' Which is a bad habit. And I should be called on. So, probably later this week, I'll try to fix the feets. ^_^

at least you can draw feet properlly T^T all in good time though eh? i always rush my drawings always! it just happens naturally though dosnt it? ha ha! a battle with a drawing i can see it now...

Yeah, it's just practice and practice and then having a huge crisis where you decide you can't draw ANYTHING about once every two months and then going back to basics and doing studies and using references and practicing...and occasionally looking at something you did a year or so ago and thinking, 'well, my goodness gracious...I AM improving!'

At the moment, slowly. Fortunately or unfortunately, I've been working on some freelance, which...well, I can't complain because it is an awesome opportunity, and I AM honing skills...just in different areas. I'm just frustrated ATM, as I have seen some killer art and want to be that perfect NOW and I'm not, and I can't use all my non-work time to work on the areas I want/need to 'cause I'm actually doing work for other people and I feel like everything I make SUCKS.
...so...about the usual.
