Just a sketch, probably bound for scraps soon...kind of a concept piece playing with a pose and an idea and a desperate desire to do some more Doctor fan art...and a very badly drawn couch. Many aspects of perspective and other related...stuff...are horribly, horribly...wrong.....I did mention this is probably going in scraps soon, right?

I've always wondered when the Doctor took the time to rest, or go to the bathroom, for that matter.

I have heard it postulated many places that, Time Lords, as a race, don't need MUCH sleep, at least not as much as a human (which I think is very unfair, since they have so much more time in the first place) but you gotta figure that from time to time, after lots of running and doing complicated time/space equations, or eating too much pie, he would hopelessly conk out.

OMG one of my friends did a drawing quite similar to this!
it's to bad she's not allowed to have a DA account, otherwise i would send you a link.
she too had him spraled out on a couch with a book on top of his chest, his glasses almost falling off, and his clothes were basicly all wrinkly.
honestly this is just one creepy concidence!
but fantastic job none the less!
