That reminds me of a very touching video I once watched on YT.
It played in a world in which it was normal to be gay and a young girl secretly loved and was together with her childhood boy best friend. Well, some people knew/guessed about it and bullied her until her boyfriend broke up with her out of fear and until she commited suicide...
I think stuff like this (the video I talked about or your comic page up there) is a great great way to show what homosexual people go through in our 'hetero-based world' just by turning around the roles for once... -sighs-
