This is for my art trade with , who asked for a drawing of George persuading the other Beatles to let Ringo join the band.

I read somewhere that John (or maybe it was George or Paul) thought Ringo looked like a mysterious and tough guy at first glance.

It's true. Ringo said in an interview (Conan, I think) that when they first met, the other Beatles were 'afraid' of him -cuz he was working class (tough, hardcore, intimidating) and the other 3 were middle class (softie)

If you look at some photos of him without the Beatles hair cut, he has a silver hair streak.

How do you draw it? I've tried and can't get it :/

What I do is sketch how I want it to look with pencil before inking it. I start at his forehead and just draw curved lines towards the back of his head. Once I've sketched and figures out how I want it to look, I ink it.

Lol I tried drawing him in his Rory Storms stage costume, but I guess I didn't catch it enough. Plus I saw in a colored photo that the suit is red, but by the time I found out I already colored it gray.

Lol looks can be deceiving. I don't know, if I saw a guy like Ringo across the room for the first time I'd probably think he was a touch on the creepy side as well (heck if I was from this time period and saw any kind of teddy boy I'd think they were all part of some kinda gang or something). It's when you actually meet them is when you find out how genuinely nice and funny they are.
