First try with my new IR-filter. Took a stroll in the surroundings of my girlfriends flat, new places I've never seen before! Fun!

It's a regular HOYA R72 filter, and they go for close to 500:-. Damn fun to shoot with.

Hmm, and you can use that filter with a digital SLR as well as with an analogue SLR? Do I need to do something extra, or can I just put the filter on and start taking pictures? And if I use it with film in an analogue camera, do I need some special kind of film? I'm confused here. Please answer quickly, since I found a cheap one on eBay (ca 280 kr).

Yeah if you're using an analogue SLR you need special IR film for it. It's a pain in the ass, expensive and kinda tricky to develop. I would suggest going digital

Your first IR shot huh? Looks pretty good to me. But then you're a good photographer, so I don't think the style really matters all that much. I quite like the central of the shot. The trees and the road. I'm not really sure the rest fits the shot so well. Personal taste I suppose. Perhaps it would've looked a little better (to me) as a vertical shot, with more height of the trees showing. It seems a little cut off, or something. But the road look great. The perspective is perfect. You took it at the perfect level, I think. Quite an interesting shot. I'll be watching for more.

Infrared is always nice to look at. This a very nice shot, the composition makes the eye follow the path throughout the entire picture. Very nice work for a first IF shot
