Description
Alice in Wonderland is one of my very favorite childhood stories. I've always wanted to do a shoot inspired by it.I love in this photograph that they look like they are having a very real moment.

I like it a lot. Love the coloring, the way the models are interacting, the lighting (great time of day), and the costumes are very cool. The set up is nice, each detail of where the scarves are or the placement of the cups are all very well thought out and aesthetically pleasing.
My qualm with the photo are the stuffed animals. I'm not a hater against stuffed animals, mind you (I have at least fifty), but they don't seem a part of the tea party. Not only that but they seem rather random. Maybe if they had sat with the girls or had their own chair I wouldn't mind them so much.
Also, wanted to say I love Alice's expression and Mad Hatter's body language. Overall, really good photo, keep up the good work.

Thank you for your critique! This was my first photo shoot that I actually used props with, so I have a lot of learning to do. I completely get what you are saying about the stuffed animals and I agree with you. The next photo shoot I have I'll remember to try to keep the props in harmony with the theme of the picture and that they support the main characters. Thank you so much for your feedback!

I find lighting of this image intriguing, it's very soft and flattering on the models. The composition is very fitting, as is the attention to detail with the use of props and costuming--however perhaps there is a need for not as many props, as I found it hard to focus on any one aspect of the shot at first. I would also say that the model on the left's face is a bit more obscured than it should be. Nice work on capturing such a seemingly natural and appropriate moment between the models, they look so comfortable, which makes the overall vibe of the shot even better. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for the critique! I will definitely take your words of advice into consideration with future photography projects. The plethora of props was to help give that chaotic, and slightly crazy feel that Wonderland has. Though I understand having too many props can be overwhelming. I appreciate all your feedback!

The vintage looking effect this picture has makes it look so beautiful and complete, and the hanging of the fabric on the trees, brilliant! <3
