I have to post this, or I'll forget it exists. It's been sitting on my computer for at least a month

I drew the pen drawing of this not long after watching the Balbadd storyline for the first time a few months ago. I mostly read the manga, but I stumbled onto the anime on Netflix and couldn't resist. Admittedly I was too afraid to color my drawing at first. It took me about three days to color (Cassim's hair alone is three layers). I'm not sure why I made it so colorful, when the tone of the pen sketch was kind of bittersweet. Maybe it's all the emotions. I mean, Alibaba and Cassim are childhood friends, practically brothers, and yet there are rifts between them that are hard to overcome. I'm glad there was a resolution, though I admit I wish it could have been happier.

This is a picture of the original drawing that I took in the sunlight, because my scanner was such a color leech it was too painful... So I resorted to my camera
