Nice colors.

You could make it like a horizon line and make the bottom half a reflection in a lake?
Just sayin.

I love the colors you chose and the movement your showing with the lights and the sparks of electricity in it. May I ask what the idea is behind this piece? If there is one?

Something of the cosmic blazes that linger behind an extraterrestrial craft as it heads straight toward our planet

JANunnoArt In reply to StrangeProgram [2010-06-28 00:20:04 +0000 UTC]

Nice concept. You said that you didn't know how you felt about this piece, is it because your unsure of exactly what it is that's making these cosmic blazes? And, your unsure of where to bring it next?

I'm not sure what I want to do with it, whether I want to keep it as it is or add more to it.

JANunnoArt In reply to StrangeProgram [2010-06-28 00:28:04 +0000 UTC]

If anything, I wouldn't add too much more but maybe add to the front where the actual "object" is pushing through it's atmosphere to make it seem like it is causing more havoc or damage because right now it seems very fluid and straight forward and "nice" if you will. I know that if I think about a craft or a meteor or something heading for earth I think about it being menacing. Standing alone as it is it seems like a chemical reaction (does that make sense?)

StrangeProgram In reply to JANunnoArt [2010-06-28 00:30:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I like that idea. I may try adding something like that in and changing the angle so it's not just a direct horizontal line

I would definately like to see that when you get it up
