Once upon a time, there were two girls, smarter than many of their friends and classmates, who ended up on a study project together. Both were not friends with each other and considered each other rivals, but circumstances forced them together for the completion of this project.

One was Emilia Barlow, a young prodigy from the North of England who came from a London institution with an interest in ancient civilizations and ancient ruins. She appeared older than her youth suggested, and much more proper than someone who could have been so beautiful. Emilia was also very arrogant, obsessed with making "the big one", finding the one thing that would make her the most esteemed and greatest archaeologist of her generation. Her ego and arrogance made her impossible to work with but somehow she had no choice but to complete this or fail.

The other was Nina Dowd, an ambitious and dowdy female from the United States interested in OOPARTS, objects that appeared out of place but with an ancient origin. She had a unique charm to her, a hidden beauty that could have been hypnotic; but suppressed herself for the sake of her research even if she could have had anything if she put more effort into it. Nina also wanted her big break, but she wanted to be there and be the first to find and to prove it, to touch anything that would give her great success no matter how strange or bizarre that discovery would be.

Neither Emilia or Nina would appear to know of one another after this incident and continue on their own ambitions outside the one project. However, both would coincidentally find similar paths that would change their destinies forever: for Emilia, it would be the believed remains of an ancient queen in a far off land; for Nina, it would be a bizarre vehicle discovered in Rhode Island. But after these events...the two would realize how truly similar...they really were.

Somehow has offered to maybe write a tale involving my own little Emilia...and sort of got me thinking of her again. After a pic showing an "eventual" encounter between Emilia and Nina as they'd "eventually" become (see here: Holiday Bomb - Feline Milk Time ), I thought of a supposition: what would happen if the two knew of each other prior to their eventual mutations? That's basically the basis of this pic: it's also the first full pic I've ever gotten of Emilia prior to her mutation into a catgirl...and there really is little art of Nina Dowd pre-mutation either so here's an idea of how she could have looked at a younger age. I hope you all like this.
