Wow! I love owls... found a baby screech owl in the myrtle surrounding a multi hundred year old white oak tree, from which probably housed his nest, on my parent's property. He had an injured eye and because of this and because I knew the game warden (everyone new how much I love animals) I was permitted to keep and raise him. What a joy! my bedroom was his aviary and he was allowed to fly throughout the entire house sometimes, to mingle with our cat and dog who knew he was part of the Family.
