A base is basically,
A template for a doll,
People take bases,
And draw clothing and crap,
Kinda like a naked barbie <3

I've tried dolling,
But I just can't get it,
I can draw clothing beautifully,
I just can't pixel them lol
And I can pixel anatomy like a crazy bitch,
But when it comes to drawing anatomy,
I get all, jfdksfueifewaofje.

Um not exactly,
In MSPaint I use the tools given to me,
To do outlines I sketch with the pencil tool,
I have a tablet so this is the easy part,
Then to refine the edges I use the arch tool,
And then for shading I use a combo,
Of the arch tool and the pencil,
Then I zoom in and fix small details,
Pixel by pixel.

It gets so easy after a while,
I've been doing pixel art for like...
I want to say three years.
I tried dolling with photoshop,
But the pixels are too blurry,
With a base you want your pixels,
To be as sharp and as clean as possible.
It's easier to recolour and edit that way,
And that's why all my bases,
Are saved as .png files.
Because .jpeg pixelates too much.

I never really had the patience to do pixel art the only stuff that is pixel I have done is lil animations.

Yeah it's just like normal art,
The time literally flies by,
I mean I know plenty of people,
Who spend hours on a painting,
And don't even realize it,
So in a sense it's the same thing,
It just depends on where your heart is at.
