Description
As far as the shot goes I woke up (at dark) and had to grab my flashlight to see and not kill myself by tripping over something like the couch or the computer chair on my way to turn on the lights in the kitchen and brew some coffee. Anyway the flashlight lit up this little shméagol resin statuette that came with the Two Towers extended edition that my ex-wife got me for Christmas and it got the wheels turning.

As it would turn out, even though I thought my camera was dead after it got dropped to the concrete from about 5 feet up it still works, (go nikon ), and only fritzes out every once in a while, though I have to tape the battery compartment closed now. Anyway I set up this shot on a stool in a dark room with my tripod and lit it with the flashlight, and here is the result.
