there was so much lightning here last night.taken from alki.

re-edited the jpeg in camera raw in photoshop cs3. OMG what a difference! gave this image some more life!

That is an amazing capture! Lighting is so hard to catch. I've tried so many times. This is an awesome picture. I can't get over it. I love the reflection in the water and the way the clouds look, so dark and gloomy. It's unreal. Great great job! Your gallery is really nice. I think you are a great photographer. I'm definitely coming back to check out your new stuff. You are very talented. I'm gonna add you on my friends list. Wow thats powerful. Incredible capture. The weighted compostion of the sky definetly overpowers the city, creating a nice epic shot, mother nature showing her best.

People definately have to "full view" this.... it's one of THE most amazing, wonderful, dramatic photos i've ever seeen.... i fav'd it instantly last night!
i have it as my desktop right now and i sit and look at it, the jewel-like skyline of Seattle, the magnificent brooding clouds, the flash of the lightning and best of all... the way the lightning reflects and shows off the texture of the low-lying clouds directly overhead....
godddd i can't find all of the words to express how i love the way this came out! You've done a fabulous job and i thank you for sharing it with us, the humble passers-by.

Hello, i'm still thrilled and trying to find words that won't come out to express my amazement. This is soooo beautiful... We had lightning last night over Prague and i wasn't able to take many shots.. just a lousy one in my gallery.. but this, it rocks everything. I would gladly hang it on one of my walls, if it was available as a print.

wow. amazing lightening capture.
while taking storm cloud formation photos myself today, as I was driving away (only getting in my car a minute before this happened) a lightening bolt struck the ground no more 100 feet from my car. Let me tell you, it was the most fucking coolest/dangerous thing I have ever experienced. It was also the loudest thunder I have heard in my life.
