Done for a Battletech forum quest game, the same one that I did this planetary map for. The Kuroisara star system originally was a stronghold of the Draconis Combine (basically at the start of the Succession Wars a DC expedition was sent to the Deep Periphery to independently establish a second powerbase and fallback point to strike at the Dragon's enemies from the far flanks) which has been at war with the player state since the very start of the quest. Kuroisara switched sides as part of a powerplay of the Coordinator's daughter against her abusive and fanatic father, IIRC. Don't nail me down on the details, the lore has gotten quite extensive by now.
