Seen fan-redesigns of various characters with all sorts of variations and so I add my take.

This version of Amy goes through a near death experience after trying to take on more serious and hostile badniks, left in a sorry state and an almost lengthy recovery. Being steadfast and willing to bounce back Amy retrains and retools herself, even provided further resources from interested parties becoming an intense combat brawler with her modular hammer.

She's equipped with an interchangeable hammer with various heads and attunable parts to suit her preference or situation. One moment she would use a mallet like setup to a sharper chipping hammer fused to a battery as a sort of taser, even equip an incendiary setup if the use is practical.
