  Lokki entered in Starheim's entrance with a large speckled bird in its mouth which he had just captured and killed : a male wild turkey, a big build in full prime of life, with a dark feathered head, and a big plume on the back. He looked up at the top of the cave. It was dark, but the ceiling shone in a lovely turquoise. It was like a real starry sky with constellations. An enchantment caused by many glowworms.
  « Jarl Lincoln ? »
Lokki stepped into one of the most remote openings in the cave, the high one where the view was the best. A large wolf with gray, brown and white coats was resting there. It was Lincoln, who looked tired and hadn't slept much in a while. He was still recovering from his injuries since Bjorn's death. A few medicinal plants were found near. The alpha turned his head towards him as he heard his voice greeting, moving closer to Valera who had been watching over him for some time.

We will eat the males first, and I have spotted a dominant male to protect so that they can have other chicks in the future. I guided this whole group to shelters in a remote area of the island. They are under my protection, they will not be able to leave the island and we will be able to count them to make sure that they remain numerous.

For fish. My familiar watches over the waters: the sea and the rivers, he keeps me informed about the availability of fish and shellfish on the beach, and helps me catch them. The fish stocks are the best for us, the white monsters seem not to touch them. We can fish quietly in the river, and Rasmus takes care of helping us bring the fish from the sea back to the shore, where we can catch them without risking our lives. He also found me edible seaweed in addition to seafood and crabs.

As for wild boars and deer, there are hardly any more. I am awaiting for news from the rest of the Hunt to do the final counts. But for now, it would be good to kill fewer deer until new fawns are born. I was also able to help a group of does and their fawns to come to Aerandel island. I promise them our protection from the white demons, and safety on Aerandel. They will stay until spring, and we will not touch them until the danger is over.

I could not count the rabbits and hares, I hardly saw any on Fellfang, maybe less than ten... I will question the hunting team to take stock of the situation of these animals. Some have seen them in Grenmyrk, where they can hide better, but they are too afraid to go out.
Finally, I accompanied Primrose in the Gremwink Forest where we found edible roots. I collected as much as I could to plant them on the island. These roots will provide us with all the nutrients we will need to survive this winter. I grew up in a harsh desert, I know the tricks to find food where there is nothing left. I know how to feed hungry wolves in the middle of a war. Fellfang never will starve next winter, I promise. »

Lokki greeted Lincoln and Valera wishing them a good appetite, and may the sun shine on them. Then he walked away to the exit of the cave.

I wanted to try to do some tasks for Fellfang Task Prompts: Hive Wars (Fall 2021) . I'm not sure if it's fits right on time, but I wanted to do the reaction of Lokki who is worried about his pack and also his Alpha following the loss of Bjorn, so I found it interesting to put this idea with the task together. I also hope I didn't write too much nonsense, it's not easy to write a report without putting the reaction of Valera and Lincoln as I can't make them interact for their owners. You two, don't hesitate to tell me if you want a change to the texts or add other things. I had not dared to disturb you with this little text as I wanted above all to write Lokki's report, and to make a dinner offering. >w<
