The trio had just made it far enough away from the pride that they didn't have to hide anymore. Uwa 's cubs were finally old enough to travel and while the going was tough for their pregnant leader, with Uwa and her best friend Salama on her side, Kilauan felt strangely at ease. The girls were walking along an unfamiliar path looking for a place to call home. Suddenly Kilauan stops in her tracks. "What's up, Kila?" Salama asks, walking up beside her friend and glancing at her protruding belly to make sure things looked alright. "Do you smell that?" Kilauan asks. Uwa stops a few paces back from the other two causing her cubs to stop as well and give her a questioning stare. "I smell it. Smells like other lions." she says, still holding back a bit to keep her own cubs safe. Kilauan peers down from the short cliff they are standing on, Salama practically glued to her side. She sees another trio of lionesses, each with cubs and her shoulders visibly ease. "It's just some lionesses with their cubs. They look like they haven't eaten in days." "Poor things." Salama says shaking her head. "We should help!" Uwa visibly tenses, pushing her cubs underneath her, despite their protests. "Forgive me for questioning your judgement Kilauan. It is what has kept us alive for the months we have been on our own." Salama looks back at Uwa with a questioning look. So her hunting skills have meant nothing? Uwa notices and then rolls her eyes and continues, "And of course Salama's hunting ability has been a great asset too. Are you certain that we can trust these lionesses? What if it is all a trap to lure us into a worse situation than before we ran away?" Kilauan looks back at the older lioness with a determined look on her face. "I say we give it a chance. We are better fed and stand a chance of fighting them off should the need arise. I don't believe it will though. For the cubs safety, you should hang back, Uwa. Salama and I will take the lead." With that, Kilauan hops down a couple of rocks to finally greet the new arrivals, Salama sticking close to her side.

The other lions the girls see are these girls belonging to levilover02 ( Protecting the cubs ((Collab pride)) ).

The cubs have no names yet and suggestions are welcome. I would like them to be of African origin though and have some kind of meaning. Uwa has two girls and a boy. Kilauan's cubs are already designed and I got them when I got Kilauan. They do still need refs though, which I will eventually upload as well as refs for these new cubs I created.
