I've decided to revamp some of my old OC's refs to more fit my cleaner art style now. First one up is my gal, Tinker Gadget. Her original ref can be found here: www.deviantart.com/strawberry-… . This time you can see her with and without her prosthetics.

My OC, Tinker Gadget. I need to use this gal more! I love her so much!

Personalilty: Tinker Gadget is a high spirited young mare. She is extremely high strung and a chatterbox. When Tinker was a young filly, she and her best friend, Peppermint Curl, got the bright idea to explore the Everfree Forest all by themselves. The two had fun for a long time and lost track of time. Before they knew it, it was dark. Tinker and Peppermint didn't want to leave the forest, but Tinker knew that her sister, Lemon Meringue would be mad if they didn't get home soon.
As they were walking back the way that they came, they came across a group of Ursa Minors. While neither of them were experts at magic, both did their best to fight the ursas off, blasting streams of magic towards their attackers. Before either new it, another ursa came out of a dark part of the forest and pounced on Tinker. It managed to use it's big paw to swipe off half of Tinker's horn and to blind her in her right eye and it bit down hard on her left leg.
Tinker screamed in pain before passing out, bloody on the floor of the forest. As the other ursas came in for the kill, Peppermint jumped in front of her friend and managed to fight off the starry bears and eventually scare them back into the forest. Putting a protection spell around Tinker, Peppermint ran out of the forest and towards Tinker's house. Lemon came back with Peppermint and picked up her battered sister and took her to the hospital. Tinker was out for a few days, which had her sister and bestie worried for her. She had to have her left leg amputated and had to wear an eye patch for a while over her injured eye.
Even after her injury, Tinker retained her same high strung attitude and talkative spirit. She started to make herself prosthetics and this is what led to her gaining her cutie mark. She can still use magic and can use it quite well, though given her damaged horn, it can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. She has created herself a prosthetic horn and leg which she only wears occasionally.
