this was my first attempt at a bento box. ive gone and bought loads of exciting bits and bobs now (including a proper bento box
) and so ill be making more next time i go home 
its supposed to be from spirited away.

its just food dye that comes in little tubs, i painted it on with a cocktail stick

Cute What is it made of other than the rice?

its made from rice (as you say) made blue with food colouring.
the girl is made from chicken-ham (coloured with soy sauce for the hair) then capers for the eyes and red pepper and 1 noodle for her clothes.
the tower in the background is made from ham, red pepper, mini sweetcorn and spinach leaves
they are so fun to make!
