^Explanation: The moon marking comes from it's dark fusion typing, as dark types can be associated with night or the darkness. The mask and wings also come from its dark typing: The mask was shooting for a thief or robber type look, kind of like krokodiles sunglasses shaped eye membrane; Lots of dark types have markings around the eyes I've noticed. As for the wings, they come from demon like creatures having small or chibi looking wings, like imps for example. However, they are completely unusable, as they are much to small, and cannot be used for flying or flying type moves, they are purely for looks.
