I think it's fine without a BG. They stand out more. Pretty decent. You oughta send it to a couple FF groups! : ) More Quistis love! <3 (She was in my party.)

I love Quistis! The funny thing about FFVIII versus the other ones is that I like more of the male characters than female characters. FFVIII has such a well rounded cast that I never get bored playing the story over and over and over...
I should send it to some FF groups, that's a good suggestion. ^-^

My team was Squall, Irvine and Quistis. I felt bad for Quistis, how she seemed to have some feelings for Squall, but that was back in his "You oughta be talking to a wall instead" kind of days lol. Yeah, it is pretty usually to like male chars more in things since females are often more cardboard since often they are added in to be the "token female" or "the love interest."

I always kinda figured Quistis was more of a big-sister character toward Squall. I usually used Squall, Quistis and Zell. I only used Rinoa and Selphie when the storyline forced me to, lol.
Although Now that I think about it, in most of the other FF games my favorite characters have been 50/50 male and female.

Ah I did enjoy Zell as well. The fighter-style Limit Breaks were fun. I often chose my party members based on "coolness factor." For example, my FF6 group was Shadow, Setzer, Edgar and Sabin, hehe.

Coolness Factor FTW! I use Squall, Quistis and Rinoa for Lionheart, Degenerator and Invincible Moon. Selphie's The End is a mystery to this day lol

Oh man, FFVII was my FIRST FF game! And then I played like all the rest! (Well, except the online ones and Crystal Chronicles and 12+)

Yeah 8 was nice, I still have my ps1 discs and the psn downloadable version on ps3 (@ level 40+ on disc 1 lol). Trying to get all trophies for XIII.

Beatrix and Lani are my faves! ^-^ I just drew Beatrix in my scrapbook actually. I really wanna draw Amarant and Freya though. They'd be a challenge and I think they'd be fun.

Ah yeah I totally forgot about them, ha at first I though Kuja was a girl till he started wiping out the Queen's forces with Leviathan. Oh yea and the only multiplayer FF to boot (not counting those online only mmos)
