(Oops, I spelled the name wrong; it's actually Sanrio. Sorry, my bad ) They're the Japanese design company that owns Hello Kitty, My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Chococat, and the Jewlpets, along with a whole bunch of other characters. They produced a number of kid anime movies during the 1970s and 1980s; including (but not limited to) A Mouse And His Child, Nutcracker Fantasy (a stop-motion film), The Ideon and Unico film series, A Journey Through Fairyland (also called Florence The Fairy), and The Ringing Bell (or Chirin's Bell/The Bell Of Chirin).

P.s. If you enjoyed The Sea Prince And The Fire Child you'll probably enjoy The Ringing Bell (and appreciate the lesson the film teaches kids about the darker aspects of nature and the consequences of seeking revenge). The film is dark with plenty of implied/off-screen violence of the kind found in nature [predator and prey] but no gore and the story itself is very thoughtrovoking. You can find the English dub of the film on Youtube (unless it's been removed since the last time I saw it).
