First project I've done on photoshop with a tablet! I want to add more designs to the background at some point but this is for an assignment, so another time then.Texture from Lost and Taken

Awesome picture, love the eyes, they're really fierce.
I think it's good that you kept the outfit fairly basic since the hat with the orniments already draws a lot of attention. Shading, texture, love it all I have nothing to add.
Only point of critique is the jawline, on the left side I have nothing to mention but the right side seems off and a bit sharp to the chin. I think you can precent it in the future by drawing the chin to a somewhat lower point and then draw the jawlline.
But again: Awesome picture, I do not posess the talent you have so I hope my critique doesn't offend and that it can be somewhat helpfull in the future. I always found this tutorial to be extremly helpfull: [link]

oh man your critique is greatly appreciated! I do have a problem with symmetry (but who doesn't) haha but I totally see what you're saying. I'm trying to get better at creating depth with both color and just line art which is quite the challenge. Your comment and this tutorial is extremely helpful. Thank you again.

ooh that texture rocks. Usually sources are listed in the folder name or in the title of the image or whatever. If it doesn't abide by either of those then I prolly got it from lost and taken.
