I think it looks nice. I love how you incorporated fish-like elements into his design. If I could make one suggestion, however, I would try drawing a box (sort of like graph-paper) on a separate layer (lower the opacity and delete it after the product is finished) and drawing the figure within that box. It would help reduce the lean and even out the proportions. Regardless, I really like this, it's very cute. Nice work. (:
