a small collection of some of my "Balto" fan characters, since I was browsing through my old Balto Source fan character profiles. All of my characters need updated images....

From top left to bottom right:

Jenette: Jenna's mother; the original owner of the bandana Jenna is famous for. She taught her daughter to respect others and judge them by character. Aleu gets her markings and eye shape from Jenette.

Duchess: Since Steele couldn't have Jenna, he went with what he thought was the next best thing--the beautiful, but cold Duchess. Duchess likes to keep up appearances and often hides behind a mask of superiority and pride to hide the hurt she feels from Steele not truly loving her, since he still desires Jenna.

Nyack: Balto's full-blooded biological sister (she looks more like her mother). For some reason, Nyack was separated from her mother and brother at a young age and therefore learned to fend for herself and became a lone wolf. Later, she encounters Aleu and, upon finding out she is Balto's daughter, she joins her pack. Later in life, Nyack will venture to Nome and meet her brother in person, as well as his wife and kids. She's dark grey, not black.

James: Jenna's father. He was raised as a fighting dog, though he hated the lifestyle. Eventually, he was adopted by a family in Nome, where he found the life he wanted and fell in love with Jenette. For reasons unknown, he did not live long enough to see his grandkids.

Blaze: Steele and Duchess's son. Like his mother, Blaze gets a lot of hassle from Steele, because deep down Steele's mad that he is Duchess's pup and not Jenna's. Being raised by two very aggressive parents, Blaze tends to take out the anger he feels towards them on others, especially Balto's youngest daughter, Shelley--though he usually just teases others, unlike his parents who are capable of (and have) genuinely hurt others. Blaze is actually a kind dog at heart and he usually warns other when his parents are around, knowing they're two very dangerous dogs. Blaze usually teases others, though if it ever came to it, he's more likely to help others than really harm them.

Dingo: Balto and Jenna's rough-and-tumble son. He loves playing pranks on others, especially his showgirl sister, Miryu, and his gentler brother, Saba.

Saba: (Yes, I thought Saba was a boy when I first saw the movie) Saba is another of Balto and Jenna's pups. He's sensitive and shy, which makes him a perfect target for his teasing brother, Dingo.
