Descriptions:
The ADPI P21 MP series is the second improved version of ADPI MP series. The P21 MPs are called differently as their ammo cartridge differs, but all of them are considered single firearm. The P21 MPs are also called the lil` brothers of P21 UMCs.
The Mark 1 have anti-matter battery-powered lightsaber bayonet as default, which is the main reason to call the firearm itself 'Melee'. It is convenient as the user can react quickly without taking time to take out the combat knife(only when the user is wielding the pistol, not primary rifles), but it is also dangerous because the lightsaber was grip-like, there were some accidents because of this(The victims cut their hands off with the lightsaber when using the pistol without caution).
Although the agents who use the MPs are more cautious from then on, the designers of the corporation thought they needed a safer model(after the designer of the original was fired) and came out with the brand-new P21 MP.
Unlike the original model, the lightasber is not so easy to touch(but still need to be cautious, and it doesn`t exist for civilian models), and it is interchangeable with P21 UMC`s laser pointer and flashlight. Moreover, there`s a detachable foregrip, which is also a magazine housing for extra magazine(The mag should be pulled out with some force manually, as there`s no mag release on the foregrip). Plus, an upper picatinny rail inspired from P21 TAP. Finally, it is a 2-round burst fire and auto firing machine pistol(Burst and auto fire is for law enforcement versions only).

About ADPI P21 AMLB Mk1:
The Anti-Matter Lightsaber Bayonet Mark1, or simply AMLB, is powered by a compact anti-matter battery, which can be attached to some custom parts of P21 firearms, but not compatible to others or any rails. But later, the AMLB Mk2 complemented this problem(Which can be attached on to rails).
The lightsaber`s length is adjustable by pressing the button(alongside the trigger) several times. but there`re only three types: 50mm(single-click activation), 100mm(double-click activation) and 200mm(triple-click activation). When adjusting length, it has to be re-activated.
