About NICE(the design):
The NICE is the main subway system for Noobtropolis.
As the door slides open outwards, the space between the door and the window is narrow.
With the windows being so wide, the passenger seats actually have nothing but the windows to lean one's back. The glass on the doors are also wide, the reason of these is actually to allow the passengers view outside even when they aren't tall enough, or when they are in animal form.
The car's short length is an adaptation to the city's condition: Noobtropolis is a crime city, and the subway is, in fact, vulnerable to hostile situations. To reduce the damage from such incidents, the length of each car is designed to be shorter than normal subway cars, but increasing the number of such cars to make it effective for more passengers to be isolated from the target car by detaching the links.
Finally, about the city's finance spent for the ineffectively expensive vehicle, no worries, Noobtroolis has an unmeasurable amount of money.

About the Portal Express:
The Portal Express is the express railway system adapting the Inter-dimensional Warping Technology(IWTech), it is more like a kind of aircraft than a train. The door is opened vertically outwards, and the lower part of the opened door is used as stairs too.
Unlike those well-known express trains, the Portal Express doesn't receive energy from guided circuits or rails, instead, it is powered by the anti-matter inside the locomotive. The huge power generated from the anti-matter is modified to help the hovering engines make the train hover, and help the boost engines to speed up the train.
The Portal Express uses its exclusive station, there are portal generators at each end of the runway. After locking the doors, the train takes off vertically(simply hovering about 0.5 meters from the ground), and then accelerates until reaching hypersonic speed. By the time it reaches that speed, it will be at the portal generator. When the generator opens the portal in a flash, the train enters the portal. The portal duration is not more than a second, this can reduce the possibility of any foreign materials from intruding.
The train will enter the subspace and travel until reaching the destination, the trip time differs as the timeline between the departing place and the destination differs(Yes, this thing does time warping). During the subspace trip, it's strongly restricted not to try opening the door manually, if the one actually manages to exit the train during the subspace trip, the one's body is likely to be dematerialized. Due to such risk, the windows are layered with bulletproof glass.

Nobody uses this or even care about this in NTP community... Guess I'll be redesigning transferring this to anywhere else, such as Draconia.
