this looks rally similar to the effect you get when you draw on tracing vellum than scan it in.

Holy cow, that's some beautiful inkwork. Did you add that greyish tint of second lines digitally or is it hand drawn? The whole thing rocks, it looks like it would be even better with 3-D glasses. xD
