I like these shots with seemingly simple thematics. perfect composition.
I'd only give slightly higher f-number so that the DOF would cover even the piece of tallow.
looks as though you have plenty of lenses, doesn't it? another try? I am still heavily considering the m42 way, hope I find myself some time to pick up and try some of these...
