Description There are many mistakes, incorrect spelling, and it is a silly premise. But Brite demanded it be done. O_O And he gets what he wants.

Anyway, did this in one go...thus the suckethness.

Some people have asked me about my avatar and his name is Britestone. When I was writing for him, I tried to make him uke as he fit the uke specs. But...again he would not have it. And I was thinking why, in spite of being shorter, originally weaker, and the prettier of the two, why he was absolutely Seme.

only to you have an idea, my frist language is portugese
and I can have more gramatical errors with portugese than with any other language...

I know 3 languages, portugese,english and spanish...
but is not because I want to, i learn at school...is kinda boring =/
but i like to learn new languages,
and know english is really important for anyone who like internet these days...

I know English, a touch of Japanese and a touch of French.

I think all languages are interesting but Japanese is more useful to me because of non-sub anime. XD

yeah...
japanese is very usefull for otakus...
i know very little of japanese...
the only thing i know i got listening from animes, so is very little..
and lucklly i always find anime with subtitlle

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Stregian In reply to Lawliet-female [2008-12-16 19:53:14 +0000 UTC]

My favorite series comes out first in just Japanese and is later released with subtitles. If I want to understand the plot, I have to understand a little Japanese or I have to wait. So my own curiosity is the motivation. ^^

I have books on Japanese and the writing but it is by watching anime that I understand. After all, the way a Japanese person usually speaks and the way a cd or book instructs is different for common-speak is more fluid, less formal, and clipped. In fact, I didn't even understand the words I KNEW from the book when it was being spoken normally.

Just as in English, we usually do not say 'I. Would. Like. To. Have. A. Cookie.' we would usually say something that sounded like 'I-d-lke-ta-ave-ah-co-kee.'

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lawliet-female In reply to Stregian [2008-12-16 20:49:32 +0000 UTC]

yeah!
even in any course that you take you always learn the formal frist
i guess that we even learn the casual way...
and what is more boring is courses is that when you have to give an answer you have to say like 'a cookie.i would like to have a cookie'
you have to say the short form and than the long and formal form.
all i know of casual englsh i lean listening the tv or on the internet
i would have problems if i didn't know english, the translators are terrible...
the google translator is the worse,it translate in a terrible way!

i'd like to take an japanese course...but until now, all i know is what any good otaku would...

I think I know a little more than the average Otaku. I am starting to pick out words and phrases so that I have a general idea of what is being said though I could not be quoted.

I was watching a short Japanese commerical and I knew every word. ^^ I was so amazed! But the conversation went like this 'Oh! I'm sorry. Are you all right?' and then the other person mutters and then curses as he is injured and the other person says 'Excuse me!'

Still, I was damned proud!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lawliet-female In reply to Stregian [2008-12-17 12:18:17 +0000 UTC]

congratulations!
what i know from japanese is just words and a few phrases, i would not be able to have a conversation and i am still to lazy to go search in te internet for an online course...

i watched i japanese comercial once and i didn't understand even a word that they was saying, they speak really fast...

here in Brasil i never met someone that actually knew japanese, only a few words like me
and its rare to find someone that know an good english that could talk to you like this, most of it only know the poor english that is gaven at school, lucklly i make an english course

the bad part is that my english teacher sad that what we are learning you learn at 4° grade
so is kinda humiliating...

-blush- I just got lucky, is all.

Don't be embarassed about the level of English you are learning. I took French and I felt embarassed because we had to watch these annoying childish videos talking in French and saying 'I want a chocolate. 1-2-3 chocolate! One for me and one for you. 1-2-3 chocolate!'

-____________- For an 18 year old, that was a tad demeaning. Bon-bon-une-CHOCOLATEE!!!!!

this year i saw like two videos for two weeks of how is the alphabet...honestly,is ridiculous...and the worse part is that you had to sing after...
i'm glad that i'm on school vocations now, unfortunally is only until february...

Stregian In reply to Lawliet-female [2008-12-17 20:03:22 +0000 UTC]

I don't care for French. The language is too nasal for my taste. But it was required to take a year of another language and my choices were French or Spanish.

If I had my choice, I would have taken German or Japanese.

No, I never studied Portuguese. I know not a word of it.

and every person that i spoke wich hates her too...
and her voice is really weard...

My French teacher, the first one, had a really deep southern accent so anything he taught us was wrong because he put his own retarded dialect on it. We eventually drove him to quit (LOL) and got replaced with a more capable teacher with NO accent.

i never been kiked out of any class (that i remember)but every year have a teacher that i don't like, and was these teachers that i always tried to be friends, and a good relashionship is always good to be friends of a person that you don't like specially a teacher, because this way you garanteed that that person will never try to scrull you
is always good to be friend of everyone, including your enemies

but...always have a person that get away from this and is this person that you can't stand...

Stregian In reply to Lawliet-female [2008-12-20 15:39:51 +0000 UTC]

I was the one to debate with teachers and, generally, they enjoyed it. In the case of being thrown out of class, it was because I refused to stand and say the pledge. (It is my actual legal right not to) The teacher told me 'Say it or get out of my class' and I packed my bag and left. One of my proudest memories! ^^

I usually didn't have to try with my teachers but I do remember one teacher that simply didn't like me....for she liked barely anyone. She made her students nervous and I thought her class a complete waste of time. -rolls eyes-

Oh, I know what you mean. I didn't try to make an enemy out of her. But there was NO way to make a friend out of her either. Compliments were wasted on her. Chatting was useless. I passed her class and put her behind me, thank Gawd. So grateful to get out of her class.

there are some teachers there are so boring and sometimes when they speak is like one of those songs to make a baby sleep...i always try to not sleep in class specially in a math class (witch i'm worse at) but sometimes is unusless to try and you end sleeping...

if i be trown out of class i get like a month whitout computer,so i make my best to don't be...

and another thing that is bad in a school is how people can be mean with you, sometimes only how you look like they already judje you in a wrong way...

Well, I was actually Goth in High School so...the judgement of others meant NOTHING to me. I was already outcast and that plesant position meant I never had to worry about losing my place. Outcast is always outcast. There is a certain comfort in that.

I never slept and I don't see how you could either. Too many people around! Too many people talking! Too high a risk of someone messing with you or stealing your stuff while sleeping. No thank you. I can't even sleep on an airplane. >_< But I did tend to draw in class...often. It was the main reason I got into trouble so much. XD

When I got thrown out of class, that one time, my Father didn't care but my Mother just sighed. You see, my grades were good enough for me to get tossed from the 'average' class and simply go take A.P. -shrug- I liked it better there anyway.

i don't really care for what people say of me but, last year i didn't had any friend so, what people say used to make me sad.

i draw very often in class too only in the end of the year that i draw less because get ap it is hard only in math, the others is easy...

the only problem of drawing in class is when you don't know what to draw and you keep staring at the paper waiting for an inspitation come...and when thar doesn't happen i keep looking to the nothing making up fics...

I tend to draw, even if it is nothing to be proud of, patterns and shapes, weird thought to be illustrated, etc. I would turn in reports with doodles all over them. LOL I even got one teacher to write atop my report 'A; Nice drawings. You have talent.' -blush-

Seme is Japanese for 'The one on top' and Uke is 'The one on the bottom.' Usually the MAN of the relationship is Seme.
