Description
Even before the arrival of Dr. Arkadius, the farrow used lesser pigs as beasts of war. These boars, crudely armored and fed on the flesh of other sentient beings, are used as ravenous shock troops, unleashed in frenzied packs to crash into enemy ranks. These creatures are indiscriminate in their appetites, and will gladly feast on their own when one of them falls. The farrow care little what happens to them, so long as they distract and harry their foes long enough for their troops and larger warbeasts to get into position.I actually have eight of these zany little pigs, but I did them in batches, which means that these three work as representatives of the whole. They were stupid easy to paint, and they look hilarious on the tabletop as they zip around and squeal into battle. They've been the unsung heroes in many of my games. No one expects to have to deal with five to eight of these little guys, which can do a lot of damage while they distract my opponents.

Thanks; they're actually lesser warbeasts (like Legions' Shredders and Harriers). They only cost 2 points each, and are eminently spammable (I regularly run five or more in my armies). So many baby warbeasts make for a surprisingly effective tarpit.

I'm not surprised at that! I'll probably eventually do the same once my Legion force is up and running!
