GOSH! Yet ANOTHER piece inspired by RENT. Blame for this one. ;D

"You're such an idiot." Nick growled as he stood from the table and promptly left. Zoey, Rochelle and Ellis watched him leave the table, the two females utterly dumbfounded. Ellis had been telling his stories as usual and apparently his tongue slipped a tad, unleashing Nick into one of those ass-attitudes.

Ellis likes to call them Asstitudes, but Nick always manages to clock him on the ear every time he does...

He never knew what to say to make it so Nick wouldn't look at him as if he was gum on new shoes. He's tried everything in his character to change him, to at least understand what Nick WANTS when he's like this, but nope, never came to him.

The southerner huffed and sunk lower into his seat, watching the silver wear before him. This was just like his "lover." Nick planned the double date himself, bringing the four to some fancy hotel restaurant. It was bad enough that Ellis showed up in his work attire, but now apparently something he said ALSO pissed him off.

Rochelle and Zoey didn't exactly know about the two of them. Hell, did Nick and Ellis even know what the "two of them" were? But whatever it was, whatever they were, Ellis knew quite a few things to note. For one, He was Nick's. He wasn't sure if he could say it went the other way around, though. It pissed him off.

Ellis suddenly stood, apologizing sheepishly at the sudden clank of silver wear. Zoey reached for his arm, muttering his name, but Ellis just left the dining area. He knew just where to find Nick.

The elder was leaning over a pool table, playing against no one in particular. He was the only one in the room, that was, before Ellis decided to walk right in. The fireplace reared dancing shadows against the paneled walls and wooden floor.

"Nick, why ya gotta be like that all da time!" The words came out unexpectedly sharp, making Nick look up in annoyance. Ellis paused and placed both hands on the pool table, "Ya know... if ya really din' like d'idea, then why'd j'you even go through with it?"

When there was no response, Ellis took the 7 ball and slid it swiftly across the surface. It managed to hit Nick's finger tips, earning a quick curse and a withdrawal of the hand.

Nick dropped the cue against the side and angrily scattered the balls across the table. He eyed his hand then looked up to glare at Ellis, surprised when the other was no longer across, but rather walking around towards him.

Ellis wasn't sure who started it first, but the next thing they knew they were spitting curses and insults back and forth. Their faces heated and chests heaving, Ellis growled and, mid argument, took Nick's lips against his. The conman stumbled backwards against the pool table, pulling away.

His confusion settled within seconds and Nick scoffed, glancing at the corners. "Ellis, what the fuck..?" He sighed as he finally came in eye contact with his lover. The younger smirked knowingly and laced the tip of his fingers against Nick's, guiding the man's hand to the hardened bulge at the crotch of his overalls.

Nick's eyes once again darted and Ellis leaned forward, his hips grinding suggestively against the palm. The mechanic grinned, his body going against all he was brought up to be. He let a moan escape his lips, which were very soon taken by Nick's.
