and Zoey being dumb as fuck with recognizing Mal.. seriously can it be that hard.. he's got friggin huge bags under his eye, that Mike doesn't. And yes.. basically they all were out of character. Courtney is a kickass strong independent woman, but in this season they made her so weak against Mal

Right I dont hate Mike or find his condition offensive at all. Infact they cannot put a reason as to why he has it, remember this is a kid's show and they really are unable to explain it. Okay as for Courtney winning, I'm fairly certain she may win the next season if they do let her back on the show. What really spooked the hell out of me was when Alenjandro (*snort* dead donkey) and Heather hooked up! THEY HOOKED UP! Can we look past that maybe they need to give more backstories to characters to THAT train wreck guys! Holy shit! You know...I do agree though >> I liked Gwen/Courtney even if that was short lived. She sort of shot herself in the foot with that one...that chart was rather cruel. Again to each their own preference but do keep in mind atleast that they really cannot give you reason to Mike's condition as....a rather traumatic experience would of had to happen to create Mal, then with him suppressing Mal, that would of caused the other personalities to start surfacing. However! Reading about Multiple Personality Disorder, his amount of personalities within him had been normal, many other personalities could surface.
Please dont take this as an offensive comment, I was just sharing my opinion.

Honestly kid, I'm not going to argue with you over some dumb cartoon. There are plenty of other offensive bullshit in other cartoons that trump's it, like in spongebob, spongebob is a stalker ass. Mike may be offensive to some, but do you REALLY expect any different from total drama? They are showing teens of all types with all sorts of problems. Its a spoof on reality tv. MPD is just one thing within a million of different things within that show. Everyone is 'oh lordy lordy' up to arms with the fact mike has MPD, or commonly called Dissociative Identity Disorder. If you know as much about MPD as you claim then you would be offended to fucking hell and back because Mike is a disgusting representation of MPD/DID. Izzy might be clinically insane but don't say she didn't get help for it she left the show several times and was most likely kept in a psych ward while she was gone. Duncan being a criminal and Courtney and Heather being self centered is nowhere near as offensive

Not a natural blond? My sister has dark eyebrows, blond hair. You cant go by eyebrows at all. some are born with dark eyebrows and light hair. Its uncommon but true. As for me knowing im a dick, im a jersey girl. what do you expect eh? As for DID/MPD, i found the representation accurate. Multiple personalities within one body, of varying ages, genders, ad nationalities. Of course they could of givin him more then the five we see there, an uncommon number being over 100 personalities in one. The causes are usually events in their life thats to traumatic for them to handle. That was a theory I had on Mal before. He was a 'trash can' for all of the negative things that had been happening to Mike. Let me break it down.
Mal- Canadian/maybe spanish a tiny bit older then Mike.
Mike- 14-15? as most of the contestants are, canadian.
Chester- canadian. seemingly 80s-90s ish though i could be wrong on his nationality :/
Vito- italian/jersey boy. late twenties. around the same age as 'the situation' or something
Svetlana- female, russian, and possibly late thirties early fourties.
From what I can see it is remotely accurate. For Izzy staying in the clinc a while? Nope. She was under ground, in the woods, etc. When she was sent through the walk of shame and so on? She stayed where all of the other contestants stayed, no matter her mental condition and was seen actively harassing other contestants. You are over analyzing it. Think about it, this is a cartoon, thats starting to get darker because cartoon network/the company whose making total drama, they are getting more ballsey. They are showing things that people dont want to see, or admit that could happen. They are starting to also show weapons.

I know what causes MPD and how it works but the way they portrayed it was a literal JOKE that's what I'm trying to get you to understand!
They used him for COMIC RELIEF for two seasons and Cameron treated him like a LAB RAT and both Scott and Cameron used his MPD AS BLACKMAIL.
And in the season finale Mike was rid of his MPD WITH THE SIMPLE PUSH OF A BUTTON

total drama made a mental disorder a fucking joke. it was used for comedy relief, mike was literally described as "the multiple personality disorder" like a disorder would define a person, characters handled it badly (zoey choosing mal to the finale to try to bring mike back herself like THAT'S THE LEAST YOU SHOULD DO SEND HIM HOME SO HE CAN HAVE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL HELP) and that a mental disorder can be solved by pressing a button, teaching kids that if someone has a mental disorder it's their own fault and they should try harder to find their "button"

uh huh. I only skimmed what you say because even if all of this makes a total lot of sense all i can really see is someone bitching me out over a cartoon. There are more then enough characters on that show who would be considered offensive. Courtney for starters was a self centered cunt if you ask me. Heather the same. Lindsay? Before you sit there and scream about 'holy shit its mpd and they are using it in comedic relief' lets look at Izzy. She's clinically insane. She did nothing to seek help and got worse as time went on. Chris Mclean, the host of the show became horribly homicidal at the end of it all. You are telling me to fuck off when you are the one shrieking at me like some kid stomping their feet because obviously they didn't get what they wanted. I'm saying it THAT WAY because now its what it seems like. Honestly though he did seek help, and probably WAS on medication to suppress Mal. There is no real cure for it, and i'm fairly certain the personalities will come back or he will get horrible repercussions from 'deleting' them. There are a lot of things that they dont show, because again its a kids show, and they cant do to much shit. The Canadian version is much much worse. OH! And lets not forget Duncan actually had been escorted out in handcuffs, having of blown up personal property. Honestly I dont expect you to be friends with me, I dont expect you to be friends with anyone but I WAS sharing my opinion. There are much worse people on that show then you are acknowledging. Alright, first of all, half of your comment here just doesn't make sense. You're saying some of the characters (Courtney and Heather) are offensive simply because they are "self-centered cunts"? Are you fucking kidding me here? That's a part of their characters, not to mention that that's not even offensive?? At all? I mean, what's so offensive about someone being self-centered? I'm pretty fucking sure that not everyone in the entire fucking world is a loving person who cares about everyone and their feelings. Again, how is that offensive?
I can personally understand where you're coming from about Lindsay, but they're over-exaggerating a stereotype. This is not the case with Mike, whereas the writers are using a Mental Disorder for comic relief. Lindsay isn't the only blonde, and she's not even a natural blonde. Her hair's dyed, you can compare to her black eyebrows. While this isn't confirmed (or maybe it is, as far as my knowledge extends, it isn't), it's still not a very good argument when Astrid herself mentioned that stereotypes are offensive as well.
Also, Astrid's "shrieking like a little kid stomping their feet because obviously someone didn't get what they wanted"? She's not, actually. Sure she may have been a bit blunt, but she's not complaining like some shit kid. I may just be biased, we're good friends, but you're honestly the one who's acting like a little kid. And to be perfectly honest, fuck that. Fuck the end of TDAS, it was utter shit and really out of character. Incredibly rushed and just idiotic as fuck. It suffers an incredibly terrible case of poor writing.
We don't know that Mike was on medication or not, if he truly sought help, you'd think he wouldn't come back for TDAS? He'd just go find help? Apparently not, and they just took the concept of MPD and fucking damned it to Hell. The writers did a truly poor job of portraying it, children's cartoon or not. If they actually wanted to educate kids about the subject, they would've taken a better turn on it. Or just not have it at all. Try putting yourself in someone else's shoes, how'd you feel if you had a mental disorder, and there's some stupid show that's completely making fun of it? Acting like it's all sunshine and lollipops? That it's not at all anything that needs to be taken into consideration as terrible and traumatizing?
And Mal was fucking shit. He just played some childish pranks on some of the contestants and had everything handed to him. Half of TDAS centered around Mal, and that was fucking horrible. If there's no true cure, they shouldn't have had the reset button. That's fucking bullshit. Everything's sunshine and rainbows and happy times when you have MPD because all you have to do is just press a button and everything will be magically alright, am I right?
Fuck no. That's offensive as Hell, even to me, who doesn't have MPD. I just find it so incredibly awful that they thought that this was a good way to end the arc.
