this is my take on what theyd look like in their late teens
i still like this piece tbh it was experimental mixed with stuff im already comfortable with drawing so it was just a blast drawing it <3 plus i looooooooooooooooooove these girls a lot

I love that buttercup is trans, and that you gave blossom a different body type. I think it fits her and her big personality. She looks beautiful and Bubble seems so preppy. I love how you captured their personalitys and love the clothes...and buttercups leg hair.
In all honesty I agree I think a chubby Blossom, Girly Buttercup, and Trans Bubbles would be the most original concept ever. I like what you did here tho.

Something that bugs me even though it probably shouldn't is that this is the first look at older Powerpuff Girls that doesn't make Bubbles the "bigger" one.

i did that on purpose
i find it pretty interesting - or rather, stupid as fuck - how whenever people headcanon a skinny character as fat they always pick the cute, happy, bubbly character. like anna from frozen, or bubbles like you said
you pretty much never see people headcanon a bigger body type for skinny characters who are bitchy, kinda mean, confident or blunt. it's like the characters need a sweet, cutesy personality to make up for being fat or something. but the thing is, body types are NOT just fit certain types of personalities
so i wanted to stray away from the stereotype and instead picked blossom to make plus size. blossom is bossy, smart, confident, determined, sometimes a bit arrogant or vain, and fussy. a personality type most people dont seem to think fits being fat. but guess what? she rocks it

I honestly thought you did it because in Power Puff Girls Z (the anime version of the show) Blossom eats a ton... Kinda makes me feel bad when I found out there was a huge deeper meaning

That grinds my gears too. I think what it is is they're trying to portray different body types positively, but they still fall back on the same tired old stereotypes. It's problematic as fuck, and people don't even realize how awful they're being when they do it. The attempt at progressiveness is undermined by their laziness.
I have the same problem with people who envision tomboy characters turning out to be transgender; like, dude, I get what you're trying to do, and God bless you for trying, but you're only spreading stereotypes here, so please stop helping.
