Welcome to the first ever Alsaraphem auction! Not sure what an Alsaraphem is? WELL, they are the sons of Saraphem! The first true tiercels of the desert, born of the first Saraph tiercels who crossed with the divine daughters of Elysia.

What are Alsaraphem?
Alsaraphem are the sons of Saraphem, who were created by Elysia from the reflections of Roth's light upon the water to be the brides of Harenoth, the first Saraph sultan. Like their Saraphem mothers, these fiery-coated tiercels are most commonly gold or red of coat and born with blue and greens eyes of their mothers, and two to three sets of wings, although they gain magic most commonly after their father rather than inheriting their mother's water magic! Only a Saraphem hen can give birth to an Alsaraphem tiercel.

What do they do?
Historically, they served as protectors of the desert. Born as the result of matings between a demi-god and mortal beings, Alsaraphem were once considered the purest tiercels in the desert! They were often taller than normal tiercels (at least two hands if ancient records are correct) and, with their multiple sets of wings, cut quite an impressive image as they flew threw the desert. However, over the passage of time, the diluted breeding pool of Saraphem has restricted them to the normal constraints of typical Saraph tiercels. Every now and then an Alpsaraphem with Water magic - like their mothers - will arise but, far more commonly, they inherit the magic of the lucky stallions who were lucky enough to woo a Saraphem long enough to have her carry his spawn!

Alsaraphem, in the past, used to devote their very lives to the protection of the desert. Back when giant scorpions and centipedes were new to the world, they fought these massive beasts with bravery and honor to keep the Gardens of Elysia safe. Nowadays, they help to guard the passageway from the main hold of the Gardens and lead herd members who wish to pay homage to the supposed resting place of Elysia's bones to its secret location.

Keep in mind that, for the most part, Alsaraphem are restricte from entering the Mirror Pools. Only during times of great need (such as a viper breaking into the pools and the Saraphem are unable to push it out or situations similar) are the Alsaraphem allowed to enter the Pools. They are, however, expected to ensure the safe return of Saraphem who have completed their season of service back to the safety of the Gardens of Elysia and are, often, paired as escorts to Saraphem.

Okay, cool! So how do I try out for one of these ravishing men?
This auction will begin on September 1st, 2017 and will run for one month! We want to make sure that these special tiercels have the best home possible so this auction will require both a complete character reference as well as a complete character profile! Please be sure to read over the Anomalous | Saraph's Saraphem/Alsaraphem journal, the Saraph - Herd Journal , and Anomalous | Event Timeline to make sure that you get a good idea of what is going on in Anomalous that your character might have lived through! We will be looking to make sure that mentions of current Shadow Alliance movements are mentioned. If your Alaraphem is over fifteen years, you must make mention of them serving in the Mirror Pools/the passageway to the Mirror Pools during a specific season!

Note that at this time, no 'Renegade' type character plots will be accepted at this time. All Alsaraphem won in this auction must live within the Gardens of Elysia! If so desired you can have them currently 'unhappy' with their lot in life but will need to enact any further plots IC. However, seeing as Alsaraphem are one of the most respected/exclusive ranks in Saraph, they probably don't have much reason to leave!

To be clear! To try out for an Alsaraphem you must complete/meet the following requirements:
Cannot already have a Alsaraphem character (Starter Alsaraphem are now a purchasable character but cost a Rare Locked Rank (Purebred Saraph) PLUS an Extra Rare Locked Rank (Alsaraphem Line), so are not cheap! The only other method to obtaining an Alsaraphem is through breeding).
Must complete a reference image AND a complete character profile!
Due date is Saturday, September 30th, 2017. As of 00:00 Pacific time October 1st, 2017, no more profiles will be accepted!
