Much to her mother's relief, the young princess Hazel looks leaps and bounds different than her father... kind of. If anyone were to somehow be privvy to her true sire, the might find the deep, burnt gold hide a dead ringer for a descendant of Princess Niamhe the Golden, Donnaghán's mother. The princess's delicate features, small and petit, speak of the refinement of the lines from which she comes, one chock full of princesses and royal stags of kingly blood. Her legs, long and spindly, promise that - when she fills in - the petit Hazel will likely tower over her mother. However, as it is, no one except Princess Blossom know Hazel's beginnings (aside from Donnaghán, of course) and the intelligent brown eyes hold the kindness and strength of her mother bolstered by the quiet confidence instilled in her by her presumed sire, Lord Ciardair, from whom her length of leg is attributed.

However, she has already learned to keep this strange love of hers to herself at the guidance of her mother. Hazel loves her family and is particularly attached at the hip to her mother and sisters.
