Updated April 25th, 2018: New ref for my golden boy, featuring his Lumos dragon, Betzalel! Fun fact, when Betz is full grown, it'll be half of Khan's size. Show is Khan wearing the sheer robe he wears to the meetings, with a golden, three-winged pin to which his Ancient Shark Tooth has been attached to. He usually only wears the robe when attending to his advisor duties and is, most often, walking around in the nuuuuude! However, he never takes off the dark crimson ring upon his left talon to signify his engagement to Saraphina!

While a young tiercel, Khan tends to have a more traditional view of Saraph and, as a result, has become rather disenchanted with the direction his flock has taken. He does not approve of the alliance with the Shadows, even though the gold and Austerian slaves that they were provided did help rebuild their city faster than it would have without it. Khan believes that the meteor shower was a sign from the gods that they are displeased with who the Saraphs have become and, while he himself is no saint, he has quietly begun to harbor a fire in his heart to make Saraph great and noble again, like it was in the days of the first sultan Harenoth. In regards to the newly crowned co-sultans, his displeasure continues. He isn't overly fond of the blessed but temperamental albino nor the dark-coated former slave; however, Roth did bless Khonsu... No matter his own personal opinions, he serves loyally as a mercenary as his devotion to the Saraph herd cannot be questioned. He trains daily to keep himself in top condition and avoids alcohol/hallucinogens to keep his mind sharp as a tack. He disapproves heavily of taboo things such as tiercel-tiercel relationships, believes that although hens are to be respected that they must earn his respect, and above all wishes that the legends he grew up hearing as a fledgling were once again true...

History:
Born into a well known, 'old money' family, Khan has lived a fairly easy life. Leopetra, one of Barak's prized and longest standing harem hens, gifted her mate with a second son, having birthed a colt for him the year before. Khan has never wanted for much but, raised to honor the value of hard work and its rewards, as with all the tiercels of his family he joined the mercenaries as soon as he turned five to not only serve his herd but gain physical strength. He is surprisingly religious for a tiercel, firmly believing in the legends of Roth and Elysia and the 'old ways' of the herd. He does not particularly approve of the direction the herd is going, believing them to be slowly but surely losing sight of what it means to be a Saraph. While his father does own slaves, Barak is one of the few slave-owners that works side-by-side with his slaves and truly does allow his slaves to purchase their freedom and, thanks to his mercenary sons, ensures their safe passage out of Saraph. While Khan himself doesn't believe that the Saraphs have need of slaves (their ancestors didn't, after all) he respects that his father at least allows the slaves a chance at freedom, personally escorting them himself if necessary. His viewpoint has caused Khan some grief in the past but, with their family all well-known for being honorable and their business in good standing, they manage to keep a clean reputation. The second son in line to inherit the father's business behind his older brother, Khan doesn't foresee himself getting the family business into his claws any time soon so has decided to focus on other matters, such as improving himself and finally getting down to claiming a harem!
