Description
The RW&B Team.

So I wanted to do an All-American team for this MVC contest.
I wanted it to consist of some kind of mixture of:
Captain America, Guile, Charlie, Alex.
(Yes everybody, I know that Ken is American, but he does not share the military background that all these guys do).
However, I decided not to do this line-up because I found that it had already been done.

So I thought:
"Well....how about an all 'Stars&Stripes Team' and/or a 'Star-Spangled Team'?"

But this brough up a different problem.
The only characters that I knew of that seemed to fit the bill were Captain America and Tiffany Lords.

So I changed the criteria theme for this pic again, and chose to just make it a:
"Red, White, and Blue color scheme team".
But then this also brought a new issue into the mix:
It allowed for way too many characters to choose from......
Several of which, although were colored RW&B, were not even American.
(ie: Gill, Abel, Sakura, etc).

I suppose there were others I could have gone with,
but with all this in mind I finally chose just to use Sodom
for no other reason than for his RW&B color scheme.
(and because he IS an American).
Don't quite like how he turned out here though,
but the contest submission deadline is running down fast.

For Tiffany Lords, I admit that I already wanted to do a pic of her.....
(and who ever needs any reason to draw her?)
Not much thought went into her image here.
She's only been in a very few games, and her costume hasn't really changed a lot between her appearances.
In fact, I believe that she only has 2 outfits.
I decided to kind of mix her 1st and 2nd costumes together for this pic.

Captain America gave me the most pause when drawing him.
He's been going through a lot of costume variations lately,
(from various media).
So I decided it wouldn't be too far-out for me
to customize his costume to my own ends a little myself.

When redesigning Cap, I had originally changed his mask to be more Batman-cowl-like:
covering his nose and his previously exposed ears.
I really liked this kind of mask on Cap,
but this design actually made him look a lot like DC's character: "Guardian".
So I dumped it.
(both characters fight with a shield, and I believe that they were both designed by Jack Kirby).
I kept the ears covered, but changed the front of the mask back to the original that left his nose exposed.
As I was making the comparison to the "Guardian" character,
I was also reminded of those Mercury "tail-fins" (?) on the sides of the Flash's mask.
So I did a variation of those here to replace Cap's original head wings.

My final mod to Cap was to get rid of that letter "A" on the forehead
Dunno what it is, but I have ALWAYS disliked this.
I remembered that one of Cap's previous alt-costumes
had this eagle design on the mask instead of the "A",
(I think from the "Heroes Reborn" storyline).
I really liked that a lot better and decided to use it here.
