Description
When I was redesigning Tantrum, I had a few different things in mind.

I thought it odd
(as many other Transfans no doubt probably have too)
that a bull (and a rhinoceros) is not a predator at all,
but still in the Predacon team.
At the same time, the Greek story of the Minotaur came to mind too.
In that particular story,
the Minotaur really did hunt down and eat people in the maze.
So my final thoughts on that subject is just: "meh".

ANYWAY....
the previous week I had just watched a bunch of Harryhausen movies.
One of which was: "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" (great film).
I was inspired by the stop-motion creature: "MINOTON" in the movie.
So I originally had him looking a lot more "minotaurish" all around,
with his actual beast-mode bull's head
also being his robot head/face too.

Obviously, in the end, I decided against it.
That interpretation wasn't quite Sci-Fi looking
(yes, I have always considered Transformers to be Sci-Fi),
and catered to much the the Greek mythos
instead of the Transformer's mythos.
I thought that having the bull head in both robot and beast mode,
kind of took away from the transforming aspect.
and it just didn't look quite right to me.

I didn't have the toy of Tantrum,
and not a lot of reference material,
but I still wanted something unique that I could to make this version of Tantrum my own.
Aside from making up useless details all around the body,
I just opted to give him him a new head design.
Inspired by a Texas Longhorn bull/Pyron-esque style of horns for his robot form.
Although I haven't drawn his beast mode here,
I have decided that he'll have a completely different set of horns for his beast mode.

Anyway, I like how he turned out
