"The lamplighters? They're the unfortunate (or fortunate I guess, depends on the deal) distorted carcases of the city's deceased, reduced to little more than a bag of half- rotted flesh made to hold huge infections of "pin bugs". They wander the streets at night, mumbling inaudible gibberish, performing their meanial tasks. Cheap labour. They say it's the pin bugs that somehow makes the husks move around, and glow of course. You see a lot of strange thing in Sesriem but I never got used to the pin bugs green glow shining through their skin like that. I know they're dead and don't feel a thing but it looks painful. Makes it look like they're burning on the inside from some insidious flame.

You make sure they bury my cold- ass body DEEP when I go, and lock the damn chest. I'm not lighting any damn lamps post- mortem, you hear?

*Sigh*

At least they put a mask on the poor bastards so you don't recognize them, not that you would anyway I guess..
