I went down to Sheep Lakes in Rocky Mountain National Park to look for some bighorn sheep. No luck on the bighorns, but I did spot this coyote (Canis latrans) moving across the meadow. She was looking for dinner, and despite stalking for a while and making a couple pounces, I think she came up empty. I loved sitting and watching her. She was so graceful and elegant, even more so among the wildflowers in the meadow.Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
