Description This is my color-work debut, worked in fair isle, rather than the intarsia method that might be expected for something like this, cuz frankly, I'm lazy, and fair isle seemed a great deal easier. Still does. The image here is the front of the pillow, featuring an image of my favorite actor, Billy Boyd (generally best known for his role as Pippin in New Line Cinema's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy) which I tweaked in PhotoEditor to get it somewhat pixelized so that I could transfer its printout onto a page of knitters' graph paper. In general, the whole thing worked out better than I'd expected. I plan to auction it off for a charity set up by some of Billy's fans.

That looks pretty intense! How long did that take you? Nice work.

Um... about 2 weeks, off and on. Need to remember to mail that off to the girl who runs the charity. Actually, the hardest part was making a pillow to fit the cover over... this isn't exactly a shape that pillow forms typically come in, and I don't usually sew, so... it was an adventure. Especially when the dog walked across the room apparently for the sole purpose of peeing on the fabric I was using! (Don't worry, I used an un-peed-on piece for the actual project!)

I've found that it's always a good idea to use un-peed-on items when contributing to a charity. LOL, that's quite a story.
