Just playing around with a digital camera... I think this was when I was still using my mom's camera. Anyway, guess what it is? I don't really have a prize if you get it right, but I'll say congratulations or something like that!

Alright, alright, I was hoping to at least generate some more guesses, but I'll go ahead and tell you. It's a car window shade, one of those metallic ones. Get it? "In the dark... or at least shade?" "driving you crazy?" Huh? Get it?

Okay, everybody's stumped, so I'm going to recap my previous hints and add one more:
1) "It's not even metal!"
2) "it's pliable"
3) "it could still full-fill it's purpose without being metallic (or completely pliable, for that matter!)"
4) "but wouldn't be as "cool"
5) "it's not used in a room!"
I also could've sworn I'd posted something about enjoying keeping everyone in the dark... or at least in the shade but I can't find it, so maybe it was just a message to one of yall? Anyway, that was a big hint.

Yeah i haven't seen the new one either, it just reminds me of the the beginning of the old one. Where they're showing credits stuff, and they show picture of a chocolate making factory. Probably reminds me of it for no other reason besides the color

I'm gonna leave it up for a while longer before revealing the answer to anyone, so keep checking back. I'm kinda glad you don't have a clue, actually; I didn't know if this would be immediately recognizible or not, so I was just hoping I wouldn't look silly calling it a "mystery pic." Apparently it is mysterious enough. ;D

Nope, not yet! I think I'll post a more obvious hint - or at least point out some of the more subtle ones that I've made in previous comments - on Wednesday. I'm kinda enjoying keeping everyone in the dark though; or at least in the shade!

almost looks like an old corn bread pan.... or some sort of baking pan...that is unless you messed with the colors and then i have no clue what it is.

Nope, this picture has only had the lighting slightly enhanced, and that was only to make it appear truer to what I actually saw while I was taking the pic; more "true-to-life," if you follow me. And not a corn bread pan, but now I want corn bread - I am waay too easily influenced regarding food!
