I knitted this on a whim as a birthday present for actor Billy Boyd, who turned 37 on Aug. 28. It was mailed off to him with plenty of time to spare, so presumably he got it on his birthday. Why a pickle? It's one of his nicknames, a reference to what happens to him after a few hours at the pub. hehe.Related content
