Had a quick photo shoot awhile back for a friend who was looking to adopt out their kittens to loving homes. The long haired gray/calico girl was by far the most photogenic.And with this photo, I introduce to my watchers my new camera!
Tim bought me a Canon 5D for my birthday back in June. It's a full frame camera, so it'll take some getting used to over the XTi (which is now my back-up).

The shots from this photo session literally helped adopt out her whole litter in less than 2 days (even with the adoption fee!).
I was very proud of myself, but also kind of sad because this baby was adopted first!

I loved the uniqueness of this cutie. Very calico/tabby-like. I would have kept her myself if I didn't already have 4 kitties.

That's exactly what attracted me to my Tigger. She had calico patches of different colors and black tabby stripes on top of it. As she got older the patches kind of blended together to become a sort of fawn color with some orangy patches still showing and the black stripes. She just turned 19 last spring. Thankfully she's still in good health.

Adorable kitten side effects include (but are not limited to): Saying "aww" aloud, feelings of overall joy and warm, and having a smile appear on your face for as long as you're looking at said kitten.

It's strange how people seem to find cats even cuter when they look like one of their own. My friend's got a litter of kittens, and one kitten looks just like my Shelby, and I swear I give it an extra 10+ cuteness points because of it lol
