Description
Notebook No.107: Guilty Stars (25DEC16 - )I wanted to say 'goodbye' to Tetsujin for now, with an illustration. Of course, it's only goodbye until I get into it again, probably next year or something lmao. I wanted it to have similar themes and colour palette to my previous T28 and Giant Robo art.
I included Murasame Kenji in this one, along with my staunch favourites; Franken, Dragnet and Niko. And Ox, in silhouette at least :> SIGH. I love this series.
Tetsujin No.28-Go was created in 1956 by the late, great Mitsuteru Yokoyama.

Absolutely. I don't think hardly anyone has seen it...

I absolutely love your art. You captured the menacing silhouette of Ox in the background really well. The framing of everyone is wonderful too and the mix and contrast of colors is just wonderful. It makes me want to sit down and watch Tetsujin No 28-Go again.
Though I'm curious, what's your process for drawing something like this? I'm trying to practice drawing myself and I always wonder how more intricate drawings like this are done. Do you start with a sketch or is there other process?
