(Messy) Sketches, ideas, object concepts, location concepts, and misc. mock designs for a nonexistent Crash game. Sometimes I dabble in designing other aspects, rather than just drawing the characters. I have tonnes of ideas for how everything could look, homage the past games, and how the gameplay would go. This is all just design wish-fulfilment, for fun. I like playing around with ideas. This material is far from professional-looking XDBut in general, I'm still most interested in thinking about the characters and their story.
I could use some of the location design I've done for a Crash comic, if I ever got around to doing one.

Thanks~ All you have to do is play around with designs. Vary them, make different versions of stuff, you know. The imperative is to give it a try, if you want to!

Thanks! I draw on A4 so I make my writing extra tiny to fit around everything. I might just type out what my notes say from now on, so everyone can read it properly >_>

XD A comic would be very cool, I'd be interested as to how you'd portray a story! ^_^ also, I noticed an incredibly awesome pic of brio and cortex on your tumblr that you haven't uploaded here!! ;D It's amazing, what you can do with some humble markers. Then again copics and promarkers are pretty much the bees knees XD You may have to teach me how to draw sometime XD

I've been wrangling with comic ideas for a while. Have to wait and see how things might develop on that front.

Markers are awesome~ I have had people inquiring about tutorials. Thing is, I have so many different styles and colouring styles! My process is never linear or exactly the same, whatever I'm drawing. Some colouring sessions get really complicated XD If I have any ideas for something, I'll see what I can do.

I now have the 72 set a of ciao copics and im sooooooooooooooo chuffed with them. I've been watching and reading tons of tutorials XD I totally agree. Markers are incredibly awesome. Especially if you want a nice airbrushed look but you can't do digital art XD
You do use many different techniques and combine several at times, so yeah, that would get complicated XD You just do what you wanna do ^_^ You also have this incredibly unique jazzy style. It's a very stylish style. ^_^

well they are INCREDIBLY awesome. But they're not refillable!!! weh
I work in an art shop that sells promarkers and zig markers, but not copics. It sucks because I can LOOK at the pretty markers and test them but haven't enough money to buy them all!
Okay, I shall give you a mini review of zigs XD the inner salesperson is coming out D:
Well, I must say, Zigs are very very easy to use and blend! They don't bleed as much, or smell as they're water based ^_^ They're twin tipped, the same as the limited edition copic sketch markers. One brush nib and a fine nib. They don't have as much of a variety of colours as promarkers and copics, but that is because you can brush lightly or overlap to get your own shade ^_^ The blenders are incredibly useful for creating your own colours too. They are kind of like watercolour pens. I highly recommend them ^_^

Those sound great OvO I'd love non-smelly markers. And I'm REALLY big on blending so they sound very good for me. I really want to check 'em out now... haven't seen them in any artshops I've been to though :/ I'll need to do some hunting when I go out.

Everyone I know who uses them loves how they don't smell. It doesn't matter much to me because I can't smell anyway!! It's very handy when I'm using copics! o.O

These zigs. They're excellent on almost any kind of paper! I'm sure you could get them on le internet, just search 'zig art graphic twin' somewhere. I really hope you get your hands on them! I'd love to see you tune your talent to zigs for a while and see what you come up with XD

Ohmygosh so you may actually give them a go? That would be so cool!! You'd be super good with them! They feel pretty different to copics but that doesn't mean they're bad. If anything they're better! I just with they were refillable

At the tip top of Scotland theres a teeny group of islands called the Orkney islands, and on the main island there is a tiny city called Kirkwall, and in that tiny city theres one little art shop. So, uh, yea. A little bit fat away o.O

Sure! Though, most of my knowledge to do with the isles is from wildlife programmes... I don't know much about the towns, the people or other stuff... o_o;
I watch wildlife shows almost religiously, and there's been a few that visited Orkney. Mostly showing the seabird colonies, raptors, seals and orca. And the isles around Britain are beautiful in general. Looks like an awesome place to me!

Naw thanks! It is pretty cool and the wildlife is pretty unique here. Orkney I quite famous for it's large puffin population!
Although I'm not from the islands, I've lived here for ages. If you do ever come you'd be overwhelmed with historic attractions. You'll love the wildlife, we have all sorts of crazy birds and cute seals! Oh, and dolphins and orca, and if you get to go snorkelling you can see tons of really rare fish too!

well, I haven't seen brave either XD But theres a ring of stones that's very important in the movie, and that place is real and on Orkney! Its brilliant if you want to do some Brave cosplay.
and PUFFINS. PUFFINS EVERYWHERE.
In shops you get these little signs with a puffin on them with a cigarette in it's beak, and it's crossed out saying "No Puffin'"
