Description It had been weeks since the Autobots and Sari had returned home to Earth from Cybertron and since then the team's life had seemingly gone back into its normal routine. However, there was one thing that was missing that all of them were painfully aware of but tried their hardest not to notice.

Prowl.

No matter what Sari and the Autobot did, they could feel the emptiness that his death left behind. It seemed as if a part of their home had died along with him. Optimus tried to tell his team that Prowl would have wanted them to move on, but despite their best efforts, it was clear that only time could heal the wound Prowl left on his family.

Ever since their arrival home, Bumblebee, as well as the rest of the team, had been purposely avoiding Prowl's old room. Bumblebee didn't think he would be able to bear going in and having to face the fact that he wouldn't find find Prowl mediating or taking care of his tree. The young Autobot would sometime walk past Prowl's door, hoping and praying that Prowl would miraclously walk through, alive and well again. However, Bumblebee only heard silence on the other side.

Until now.

While walking past Prowl's room, Bumblebee heard small noise coming from behind the door. He paused and cautiously pressed his audio against the door.

"Hello?"

To his surprise, he heard a faint "meow" come from the other side.

For a second, Bumblebee fought an inner battle. Part of him wanted to rush inside and see what had trespassed into Prowl's room, but the other half wanted to walk away and avoid ever having to enter into the place where Bee's memories of Prowl would overwhelm him and cause his spark to break all over again.

However, his curiosity finally won over.

Taking a deep breath, Bumblebee slowly opened the door and walked in. The moment his optics took look over the room, he felt his spark fill with pain. It looked exactly the same as before. From the giant tree to the cute little "Keep Your Chin Up' poster, everything was same as how Prowl had left it. The only thing missing was Prowl himself.

Quietly, not wanting to disturb a single thing, Bumblebee walked to the center of the room where the tree stood. It was nighttime now and the moon and stars were shining through the hole in the ceiling. He stared up the night sky through the tree's branches and remembered all the times he saw Prowl climb up his tree whenever Bumblebee had annoyed him or he just wanted to be alone with nature.

A sudden wave of loneliness swept over Bumblebee at the memory, almost overwhelming him with grief. A sigh of despair escaped him as he leaned forward and rested his forehead against the tree's trunk.

"I'm so sorry, Prowl." He whispered, apologizing for all the times he annoyed his comrade and wishing that Prowl was still here.

"Meow!"

The yellow Autobot let out a squeal of surprise when at the sound and quickly looked down to find a blackish-gray cat staring up at him.

"Meow." It repeated, swishing its black tail.

Bumblebee let out a grin. "Hello little guy. What are you doing in here?" Remembering seeing Sari pet a cat once, he copied her actions and slowly lowered his hand and held it out towards the cat.

To his pleasant surprise, the dark cat didn't seem at all afraid of the giant, yellow robot and happily began to rub itself against Bumblebee's fingers, purring up a storm. Being as gentle as he could, Bumblebee stroked the cat's back with his fingers.

"You know..." Bumblebee slowly said, gazing at the cat's black and grey pelt and. "You sort of remind me of someone..." His blue optics stared at the cat's golden tipped ears, so similar to the golden spikes of a certain helmet. "You sorta remind me of...."

The dark cat stopped rubbing hisself against Bumblebee's hand and stared up at the yellow Autobot's face with brilliant blue eyes that felt so familar that Bumblebee couldn't help but blink in surprise.

"...Prowl?"

The sable feline gave no answer, but only pressed its furry head against Bumblebee's hand and purred as if it had found its way home.
