Description
It took years, but DAZ finally released a wheelchair like the kind that people in wheelchairs actually use, so I decided to mark the occasion by finally putting Principal in his damn wheelchair the way I originally intended.

Being disabled myself (albeit not a wheelchair-user), I'm aware of a lot of the stereotypes about how the disabled are presented in media, so I tried to avoid them. Principal is a very dignified guy, so I gave him a nice suit and made a point of giving him a pose and expression that conveys that he is confident but also approachable (because I am also somewhat aware of portrayals of black people.) I also made a point of putting the camera in front and slightly under him so that we would not be looking down on him (because I still remember being 13 and having my photo taken for one of those "a special kid overcomes the odds" articles, and I hated how the camera was angled downwards over me...)
