This is so simple that I really had a hard time convincing myself to upload it. :'D

themoonphase commissioned me to redesign one of her character concepts for Starborn-Alignment , and this is what I came up with. Top is the full design; bottom is the base without chrome.

The base had to remain chestnut pearl, but my job was to turn that base into something unique and memorable for a kirin. When moon told me the plan to concentrate his dorsal scales around his hind end, I thought about the significance of max splash white horses in Aodh and thought that would be a really classy, simple way to accentuate his species.

I tend to err on the side of simplicity in SA, even though some of my HARPG designs have been a little insane.

Anyways, on a day like today, I'm thinking I'll need dA as a distraction from reality for these next...

oh, four years or so.

And so I'm uploading this as the first of many in a series of doodles I've been working on! Expect to see a bit more from me in the near future.
